Seasoned actress Lulu Hela has been in the acting industry for over two decades now as an actress. She recently expanded her business empire and started her own production company, Hela Media, which has been a year since its launch. For the first time, Lulu Hela’s production company released visuals for their first official production, Lavish drama series.
Lulu Hela’s Production company’s first drama series
Taking to Instagram, Lulu Hela, and Hela Media, shared a trailer for a drama series coming to Mzansi Magic next week. This is the first product that has come to Television with the company as the showrunner, and she could not be more proud of this milestone. The drama series will debut on the 4th of November 2022, and it is called Lavish, which will follow the lives of the rich and famous in North Johannesburg.

The storyline follows three women who come together because of their friendship and love journeys, hardships and glamour. The first woman is Zozi, a fashionista and rich mommy trying to find a balance between family and fame. The other one is Kat, a workaholic from a political family struggling to find a balance between relationships, motherhood and her career. Last but not least, Nomzamo is still enjoying new money but wants to build an empire, while her partner wants her to be a homemaker.
Meet the cast of Lavish
The drama series bring famous faces back to the screen with its all-star cast. Jessica Nkosi will play Zozi, Ayanda Bandla will play Kat, and Kanyi Nokwe will play Nomzamo. Former Scandal actress Nolo Seabi who played Seipati will join this drama series as one of the show’s lead actors. According to the MNet director of Local Entertainment, the performance targets a more mature audience and is a cutting-edge dramatic comedy.
Lavish will replace Ayeye Stripped after their epic season finale last Friday night, so Friday series lovers have something to look forward to. Lulu Hela has been applauded in her comment section for her role on the show as the Executive producer of the series. On top of that, she is also the CEO and Founder of Hela Media, the production company behind Lavish. Many celebrities like Winnie Ntshaba, Moshe Ndiki, Khanya Mkangisa and many more celebrated one of :their own on this milestone in her career.
