In a recent Tik Tok video, Seekay, popular as Teddy from Gomora, showed Mzansi his dance moves. The musician and actor showed his fans that he is more than just a pretty face for acting—he’s got serious moves.
Because of the actor’s dull and talentless on-screen persona, many South Africans do not know he can dance. However, Teddy from Gomora demonstrated that he has some serious dance moves. Seekay was participating in a challenge on Tik Tok. He perfectly embodied the mood with his casual black trousers, white top, and fabulous pair of sneakers. As he picked up his shirt while dancing, he displayed his vivacious, lean body to his fans.
Sicelo “Seekay” Buthelezi teased his upcoming music on Instagram. His role as Teddy on Gomora made him famous, and he has more than a million Instagram followers. Recently, Seekay teased that he would be releasing new music, and it appears that he already has the dance moves to go with it. The fact that he stated in the video that he was testing out some sounds suggests that he was onto something. Undoubtedly, he was cooking up something delectable in the kitchen as he sang to fans in his angelic voice.
He asserts that his acting and musical abilities are comparable. Amapiano, Afrobeats, and Chimurenga music are all combined in his new song, Harare. He made his debut in the music business in 2021 by performing alongside the Amapiano musician Cyfred in the famous song Snake Park. The 23-year-old worked with renowned producer Tony Duardo to create the song, which he describes as a combination of Amapiano, Afrobeats, and Chimurenga music.
Although he considers playing Teddy on Gomora the apex of his acting career, Seekay admits that he and his fictional self have different moral codes. Even though he and Teddy have some things in common, he has claimed they are very different. Both enjoy telling jokes and amusing humour, but Teddy is younger and less ambitious. Seekay enjoys daydreaming. He has faith in his ability to achieve anything he wants. He has a great deal of love and passion for the arts.
The performer claims that although fame has increased his opportunities, he is careful not to let it affect him. He’s only been doing this professionally for three years. He asserts that he can never go anywhere without being recognized right away. He is exceptionally grateful for this and interprets it as confirmation that he is on the right track.
