Generations The Legacy producers have decided to freshen up things on the cast with new faces and replaced the soapie theme song. The new theme song promotional video had Generations cast members dance to it, exposing Cosmo’s inability to catch a rhythm.
Changes on Generations The Legacy in 2022
Generations fans witnessed twerk in the storyline towards the end of 2021 and season 8. The introduction of new faces of Yonda Thomas (Lelethu Malinga), Momelezi Ntshiba (Mr Majola), Muzi Mthabela (Nkosiyabo Cele) brought a shift in the soapies storyline.
Yonda Thomas joins the cast to play Lelethu, an investigative journalist and young, troublesome brother to detective Dali Malinga. He brings along a reputation of investigating award-winning stories, risking his life to unearth a dangerous chemical human trial operating under the noses of the police. Lelethu’s sudden appearance when Dali is on the verge of opening a new chapter in life by marrying Ayanda offers much speculation as the storyline and season 8 unveils.
The recent exit of prominent cast members in Vuyo Dabula (Gadaffi), Letoya Makhene (Tshidi), Luyanda Mzazi (Lesedi), Generations scriptwriters introduced two controversial characters in Nkosi Cele and Mr Mandla Majola.
Nkosiyabo has one mission, to give the Morokas a run for their money while establishing himself in their business #Ezweni through inheriting Jack Mabaso’s shares. On the other hand, Mandla has his daughter right where he wants.

While dancing to the new theme song, involved Generations cast members gave us a glimpse of storyline hints. Mrekza and wife Lucy hinted for more good days to come as the pair pulled out dance moves on seemingly confused Cosmo. Ayanda and Dali’s dance moves imply a wedding on the cards and a happily ever after, as reflected in their cosy dance move. Luyolo and Pamela dropped the major hint bombshell; if the dancing video is of significance to what’s coming, fans must breast themselves for an explosive relationship. Will Nkosiyabo Cele’s presence push Luyolo away from Sphe? Will he find love in the hands of widowed Pamela?
