Frustrated and drained Idols SA judge Thembi Seete breaks down into tears on camera
A week ago, she saw herself topping trends after things got heated between her and fellow Idols SA judge Somizi. As embarrassing as it may sound, the two exchanged words on camera. The fallout came after Somizi told Seete that she had repeatedly made the same mistakes and wasn’t listening to him.
However, Seete tried to find common ground with Somizi, but the who conversation went south. When the show was being wrapped up, the two had an altercation as they swiped at each other. Somizi got upset that Seete was talking back and made it clear to her that he had been the face of Idol’s SA for eight years.
“I have been doing this for eight years. You just started now,” he said.
Well, Seete didn’t have any of it and stood her ground. She refused to be bullied and made her presence known.
“I’m not a guest here; I’m a judge. I’m not a guest, and you better get it. I’m a judge, and I’m here to stay. I’m the first lady of this show,” she said.
At the end of it, the altercation saw Somizi spilling his drink and saying “f**k” In the mix of things, JR was silent throughout the dispute and never weighed into the conversation.
