Lesego Marakalla ‘Rachel Kunutu’ from Skeem Saam returns to our screens on Generations The Legacy.
Tuesday saw the return of Lesego Marakalla, also known as Rachel Kunutu from Skeem Saam, back on TV after taking a break for almost two years. Marakalla left the screen on a high note in 2020 to pursue a career in medicine in Cuba. The last time we saw her, she was carrying her luggage and getting on to a taxi, she winked at the camera, and that was it.
Lesego debuted on Generations The Legacy as Winston’s crazy fan. She is the woman caught putting the white rose in Sphe’s car. The police captured her and found out that she called herself Winston’s Wife. She believes Sphe doesn’t deserve the attention she receives from the serial killer.
Winston, as you remember, was not caught, and as it is, he is running live out there. He had left Sphe hanging on a tree by a rope the last time we saw him. The police rushed to save her while he got away in his car.

Winston’s wife is about to terrorise Sphe all over again. We see her stalking Sphe at her home while sleeping in one of the episodes. The question now is, where in the world is Winston, and is he behind these new developments?

According to the newly released June teasers, Winston is standing in the shadows on this one. Sphe goes as far as hiring Philani to catch him, and things will get as messy as possible because Philani rarely stays in his lane. Sphe learns of this the hard way when she finds out what he plans to do.
The hunt has begun, but the question is, who is being hunted between Sphe and Winston? Miss Cele will meet a patient that will take an interest in her, and this patient will wreak havoc in her life; sounds familiar?

It’s clear that Winston’s wife will be the key player in all of this as it unfolds.
Fans of Skeem Saam have been Waiting for too long to see Lesego return to our screens. Rachel is one of the most notorious characters on TV. She became famous for wanting to live a rich life and married shrewd businessman Marothi to achieve that. The marriage ended in tears.
If Mrs Winston is daring., risky and a little dangerous, then no one other than Lesego Morakalla can deliver her to us.
