Actor Israel Matseke Zulu famous for playing Don Buthelezi on Gomora takes on the viral Adiwele challenge with his management team in a video clip that leaves Mzansi jovial mood. Don exited the Gomora cast due to health complications; fans are pleased to see their favourite in a positive recovery mode and expect an early return to the screens.
Israel Matseke Zulu Adiwele challenge video gives a ray of hope
A visibly joyful Israel Masteke Zulu accompanied by Takie Nemangowe, the Alex FM Station Manager and his manager MaVusana nailed the Amapiano Adiwele challenge. The challenge inspired by Young Stunna and Kabza De Small Adiwele song went viral across South Africa and trended among musicians, actors and politicians.
The legendary award-winning actor pleaded with the Gomora directors to be written off the storyline after being diagnosed with gangrene. Later on, he had some of his toes amputated due to the aggressive infection that causes footrot.
Matseke Zulu vows to keep his initial job on Gomora as a scene scout after taking off the script, but pressure from the fans will see Don making a dramatic return on screen.
Israel Matseke Zulu’s manager revealed that the actor is in high spirits after a successful operation and expected to return on the screens with Gomora or another big project.
“MaOrange is recovering well surrounded by close friends and family; we thank you all for the prayers and messages. We are planning for greater things, look forward to the unexpected, we have projects lined up, a return to the screens is inevitable.”
Don on Gomora
On Gomora, the Don character is father to Teddy and Sibongile; he married Zodwa before leaving her for a rich woman in the suburbs. After the death of the rich woman, homeless Don returns to Alex and seek refuge in Zodwa’s house. He was desperate to be involved in Teddy’s life, playing catch up with the son he abandoned, though he was a gang leader; Don’s fate was sealed when Zodwa fired a gun at him to save kidnapped Ntokozo.
