Media personality Somizi Mhlongo has released a video addressing rumours spread by his friend Ali that he wanted sexual favours from him in return for being a judge at his event.
In the video, Somizi admitted to having flirted with Ali but confronted him for publishing his picture for an event he did not agree to be part of. He accuses Ali of spreading falsehoods about him.

Somizi is booked and busy
Somizi announced on his Instagram page that he is no longer accepting any more bookings because he is fully booked. Somizi will get paid a large sum of money on each booking, meaning that this is a December of a lot of guaranteed cash to the star. On his announcement on the gram, Somizi touched on how 2021 was meant to harm and destroy some people. God had different plans. He also mentioned that he’s looking forward to the coming year’s triumphs and tribulations. Many assume he was subbing his ex-husband Mohale Motaung.
Somizi Mhlongo’s 2021
Somizi started 2021 as a newlywed earning through his many jobs in entertainment. Things started crumbling when divorce rumours circulated through the grapevine about his new marriage. The couple both denied a possible divorce and maintained they were happy until Mohale threw serious abuse allegations against Somizi Mhlongo about sexual abuse and attempted murder using a kitchen knife. When the public heard about this, Mohale was applauded for speaking out because men are generally too scared to talk about the abuse they face at the hands of their partners. Mohale also made a lot of demands for his divorce settlement with Somizi even n though they weren’t married in the Community of Property. Somizi lost his seat as a judge in the music reality show competition Idols and suspended Metro FM. Things gradually improved when Mohale decided to let things go.
Mohale moved on with his life getting endorsements and opening businesses. He also travelled a lot and won a significant international award without mentioning his ex-husband. That didn’t stop Somizi, he’s been in the industry for years, and one thing he knows best is to pick himself up and move on to do greater.
