Celebrated producer and musician Dr Malinga is trending after he escaped death by a whisker just after his album launch. Despite being involved in a horrific accident, the singer is safe and sound. Viral pictures of his accident scene have since flooded social media and got Mzansi worried. However, in the backdrop of the incident, Goodwill Malinga took it to social media to narrate the daring accident that almost took his life.
According to his side of the story, the singer was travelling from his album launch as he was driving to his resort and along the way, he got rammed. Malinga revealed that he failed to hold the break and his car overturned. However, three people from the other car got injured and were reported to have been taken to the nearest hospital for medical attention.
In his storylines, the musician has it that he was not heavily injured but was having some pains in his knees. No doubt, we wish our favourite performer a speedy recovery. With his career spanning years, he has released several smash hits, the likes of Via Orlando. Despite being a musician, he also doubles as a producer despite signing under Lingas Entertainment and Universal Music Group.

Dr Malinga cheats death after being involved in a horrific accident
Despite having a colourful musical career, Mzansi has also wondered how old he could be? Undoubtedly, his age comes as a shocker in the backdrop of his energetic performances and dances. Dr Malinga was born on 7 July 1980 in Themba, Hammanskraal in South Africa.
The 41-year-old made all sorts of headlines in 2014 when he released his debut album in October 2014 titled the First injection. Against the backdrop of his debut album, he went on to win big in the SAMA’s as he scooped the best Kwaito Album Award. Since then, he has managed to win big both on and off stage.
He has been securing the bag of late and has since expanded his trade beyond music. Malinga has business interests in tourism and has acquired several resorts under his name. We can all agree he is a jack of all trades and master of all he happens to have events and management company. His grind seems to be paying well since his net worth has skyrocketed to an estimated R2.4 million in 2021.
