Ntombezinhle Jiyane, popularly known as DJ Zinhle, has allowed the public to peep into her private and family life through her reality show, The Unexpected. At the show, we get to see the international DJ at her highest, lowest and most vulnerable. With the show’s second season kicking off today on BET, the fans of the DJ have gotten a surprise of their lives as they realize Zinhle has been hiding the best secret from them.
In one of the trailers shared on BET Africa’s Instagram page DJ Zinhle is married now to Murdah Bongz of Black Motion. In the trailer, ululations and a typical set-up of uncles from either side meeting each other. This has caused Zinhle to trend on social media as her fans are questioning why she has been hiding the marriage. However, this is common with reality shows celebrities as they want to break the news on their shows themselves.

Zinhle has opened up about how she felt about being married as she said that path was not for her. However, she also shared that the decision not to be married did not sit well with Murdah Bongz as he did not like being called her boyfriend forever. The two got married a few months back in a private reception with friends and family and will share the whole affair on The Unexpected.
DJ Zinhle’s past relationships
DJ Zinhle has always been linked with her ex Kiernan Forbes popularly known as AKA, but she has since moved on with her life. Zinhle still gets dragged into things that happen in AKA’s life because she has a child with him, and they had the most public relationship. The DJ dated Brendon Naidoo in 2016, but that relationship did not work either, and she was single for some time before meeting Murdah Bongz.
How did the two meet?
Murdah Bongz first approached DJ Zinhle in her DMs with the message ‘I like you a lot,’ which she read and was delighted about. However, she thought that it was a mistake, but a year later, they met in Bloemfontein and started dating. The two have a daughter named Asante and are already a family as they live together, and Murdah is also now part of Kairo’s life.
