DJ Maphorisa threatens to beat Podcast and Chill Host MacG. The two have been making all sorts of headlines of late. Their wagging wars have fast become a typical reality show. In the wake of their jabs, Maphorisa knows he is not letting this slide. Maphorisa has issued a stem warning to Master KG to watch his back during gigs cause fists may fly or something more than that. Well, this comes after MacG allegedly revealed that Phori was a gangster.
MacG revealed that Maphorisa was running the Amapiano genre like a gangster. Not long ago, he was accused as the gatekeeper of the genre. In the mix of things, he even had a Twitter war with Davido. The two took swipes against each other on seemingly took Amapiano to Nigeria.
The beef between DJ Maphorisa and Mac G seems to be getting meatier. He has known back home that he wants to deal with MacG personally. He made it known that the Podcast and Chill crew should not disguise themselves behind the mic but must have a face-off and settle their differences as men.

Maphorisa went on his Instagram Live yesterday to answer industry-related questions from his fans. The producer talked about the music business and how artists no longer distribute their music independently. He said they opt to sign with major labels because they have bigger resources.
One of his fans asked him about Podcast and Chill host Mac G, who has criticised Maphorisa for being a gatekeeper in the industry and likening him to a mafia boss. The music exec said he’d deal with Mac G when they run into each other because he has an entourage of tough guys around him.
He also noted that Mac G wouldn’t be as tough as he pretends to be on his YouTube channel when they finally meet in person.
“One day, we’ll meet at a gig because he’s making Amapiano music now, and he’ll explain to me exactly what he meant on his podcast. I don’t play those games.”
Mac G claimed that upcoming Amapiano artists needed Maphorisa’s co-sign for their songs to become famous. Alleging if they don’t approach him for his blessing, he will use his power in the industry to suppress their music.
