DiepCity cast and crew members get along very well and we have witnessed this time and time again. We have seen them participate in numerous dance challenges together. Even when the uMlando dance challenge gained popularity, they participated and broke the internet. Yesterday was no different as the cast joined in singing together song.
Initially, everyone started singing for one main reason. On the show, the character MaShange played by Dawn Thandeka King was turning a year older. So the team decided to sing MaShange a happy birthday song. Dawn reacted with astonishment as she just couldn’t believe the craziness of her team.
Singing happy birthday songs was just not enough. Music is a universal language and when the singing bug has bitten you it has bitten you. All of them including Dawn decided to sing more music as a team.
Lean On Me
All of them joined arms together and started singing the classic song titled Lean On Me originally by Bill Withers. In a way, the song they chose is very meaningful, especially in their working environment. Lean On Me means they always have each other’s backs and therefore they always create magic together.
Staff morale
As cast members and crew members, they need to get along very well. We always hear stories of an actor fighting with the producers. Sometimes we hear about crew members not being fair to those in front of the camera. All those factors divulge away the potential gripping storytelling that should be prioritized.
Season 2 is lit
When DiepCity started airing on the screens Mzansi wasn’t too sure of the show. Initially, viewers were just trying to get to understand the storyline. Of course, there were compelling crime stories and relatable township storylines. Today viewers of DiepCity are invested and they follow each episode.
Reasons to celebrate
If their chanting is questioned then the answer would be that they are happy. DiepCity made it to season two and the fan base is growing by the day.
