Rappers Cassper Nyovest and AKA’s beef now seem to be history. The two superstars were teammates in today’s football match during Celebrity games. They both started for the Hip Hop team and were playing against Gqom.
Cassper’s goal made the headlines as he received a pass from Junior Khanye after some fancy dribbling. Cassper did not even control the ball, but the shot was straight into the corner, leaving the Gqom goalkeeper with no chance.
The Hip-Hop Team appeared to have an unfair advantage as they had Junior, a former professional footballer, to boss the midfield. The former Kaizer Chiefs star effortlessly glided past his opponents and gave Mufasa an assist. So fast was his dribbling that he evaded tackles from the KZN-dominated outfit.
In one of the videos shared on social media, Cassper received a pass on the flank and controlled it before making a long pass to the opposite corner. AKA was seen warming up on the touchline.

Cassper celebrating with AKA
Cassper made the a stunning strike and celebrated like a king among his subjects. A number of his players surrounded and hugged him. Fans were shocked to see AKA running towards Cassper and giving him a high five. It was a memorable moment for the spectators.
Cassper and AKA were not getting along, and things got heated when Cassper claimed AKA slapped him during a brawl in 2015. Cassper said he did the right thing by not fighting AKA but chose to protect his brand.
The pair dissed each other through songs, and AKA had the final say with his hit song Composure.
Cassper’s failed boxing match with AKA
Cassper challenged his rival to a boxing match without success. In his recent post last week, Cassper called AKA a coward for refusing to fight him like a man. He believes their beef should be settled in the boxing ring rather than on social media or music.
