The rapper said this was the first of the many things he would do to help the school, as he had other plans.
Cassper Nyovest visited his former school, Sol Plaatje Primary School in North West, to build a water well with the help of Quinton Van Der Burgh and the QVDB Foundation. The rapper said that the kids were so happy; it was one of the happiest days of his life. He also met some of his teachers and was sure they were proud to see how great their work was in his life.
Thanks to their initiative, Nyovest’s alma mater can now supply its 47 teachers and 1357 students with fresh drinking water.
“A dream come true. Went back to my old primary school and built a water well with the help of Quinton Van Der Burgh and QVDB Foundation. The kids were so happy, one of the happiest days of my life. Met some of my teachers and I’m sure they were proud to see how great their work was in my life. All the glory to God. Water is life, Let’s do more.”
