Advice to people
When Kuli said, she didn’t want to be remembered. She told viewers and the interviewer; instead of remembering her, people should focus on the living people. She meant that there’s no point in people lamenting her death when they should instead focus on taking care of one another.
Kuli advised people to practice Ubuntu constantly. She reminded people that kindness and humanity are essential. She also told people to protect the most vulnerable members of our society, like; people in the LBGTI community. She advised us to look after people with albinism. She also advised black people to look after fellow black people as our struggles are unmatched.
She also advised people from other races from stereotyping black people. According to Kuli, stereotypes about black people not knowing how to swim should stop. She evoked a historical fact of black people helping drowning colonizers before colonization. She pushed that a black person should be put on a pedestal by other black people as black is supreme.
Material things have very little value.
She gave a lot of people lessons in a concise space of time. Telling people that they assume the world cares when they flaunt their wealth, but it doesn’t. She said flexing is generally not cute and shouldn’t be praised, and there are vital issues that need to be addressed, like the issue of housing in Mzansi.
