Seasoned South African actor Warren Masemola has been proving himself a darling of the screen as he takes on his role of Alex Khadzi. House of Zwide fans is currently being spoiled for choice, with two of South Africa’s most outstanding actors going head to head on the show. Bomb productions treat his presence in the play well, and Warren Masemola’s salary is a testament to this.
Warren Masemola’s role as Alex Khadzi in House of Zwide
Ever since House of Zwide debuted on our screens in 2021, a dark cloud has been hovering over Funani Zwide because of his feelings towards his ex-employee Alex Khadzi. People have been told not to say the name of the famous designer in the fashion house because of the bad blood between him and Funani. It was only towards the end of the first season that his team was met at the fashion week event.
Recently a R100 million deal was offered to Funani, and because he took too long to agree to work on it, he had to share it. Their teams are working together to bring the deal home in two weeks. On the other hand, Alex is busy planning the downfall of Funani and sabotaging him for the duration of their work relationship.
Warren Masemola’s salary at House of Zwide
Masemola is excited to be part of the House of Zwide cast and even said he is honoured to work beside Vusi Kunene. Masemola looks up to the other seasoned actor, and Vusi has been helping him as they work side by side on the series. Warren Masemola’s salary in the show is rumoured to be around R45 000, depending on the number of scenes he is featured in that month. His experience in the acting industry makes his salary more than generous, as showrunners consider that when coming up with actors’ salaries.
Before House of Zwide, Waren Masemola was famously for his role in Scandal, playing Lentswe Mokhetsi. After that, he went on to take on the part of Thoko, who was the late Busi Lurayi’s sidekick in Ses’Top La. He is a three-time Golden Horn Award winner.
