Veteran actor Vuyo Dabula was coy when he was asked if he agrees that he is not too big an actor to be working on soapies.
Speaking to DJ Fresh on his WAW Podcast, Vuyo went around the question but basically admitted that he was better off acting on movies and series.
“That’s a sweet thing to say,” Vuyo responded after DJ Fresh read out Phil Mphela’s tweet.
Vuyo Dabula joining Uzalo is wild for me. Nothing against Uzalo per se. I just hate that we live in a country where actors have to take any job to survive. Vuyo is a leading man. I wish he could be doing movies and series. Can an actor in South Africa ever outgrow the soapies?
Vuyo suggested that the movie industry in South Africa needs to be growing towards movies and series.
