Video: Two KZN pupils suspended over bullying and fighting
Two students from Mathole High School in KZN have been suspended for bullying and assaulting another student in a video that has surfaced online.
In the video, a Mathole High School student in KZN Ulundi apparently shamed a pupil in public.
The clip has been circulating on social media, users requesting the necessary government to take action against the accuser, and provide necessary means of help to the victim.
“With no doubt, the action by an accuser is of shaming and defamation of a victim character. What so ever the sin of a victim, no one deserves such brutality and defamation especially by a pupil, said one user who posted the clip on Facebook.

The department of education in KwaZulu-Natal has made a decision to suspend two students from Mathole High in the district of Zululand over the video above. They are accused of bullying and assault.
In the video, one student is seen pulling an underwear from another student, whilst shoving continuously shoving her to the ground and kicking her. One young man is seen trying to stop the fight but was pushed over by the ‘bully’.

The victim is heard pleasing with the assailant to stop as she was sitting half naked on the gravel after her underwear was torn.
Education MEC Kwazi Mshengu said two pupils were suspended pending disciplinary processes.
“Professional therapy will be offered to the victim and other learners. Aggressive behavior will not be tolerated,” Kwazi Mshengu said.

Department spokesperson Kwazi Mthethwa said there was one pupil involved in the assault though she is not seen in the video circulating on social media.
