When Tebogo Thobejane started her acting career, Mzansi thought it would be short-lived but she has proved she is serious about it by appearing in more and more shows. Tebogo is now starring in the film Single Not Searching, and her fans are impressed.
Single Not Searching was filmed in both Ghana and Atlanta. According to the movie’s cast, it is a mixture of both Nollywood and Hollywood. It premiered in American cinema on the 9th of September. There are no details about when the film hit the Mzansi big screens.
Single Not Searching plot
The film is about marriages and their beauty and how often they get hurdles and sometimes end painfully. In the trailer, we see a couple getting married, but much drama happens during the ceremony.
We also see how marriage is a standard for women, and being unmarried makes a woman look rather unlikeable to society. Not being able to keep a marriage makes the women look like failures. When things go wrong with their men, they go on a rampage, and the drama is immense. Viewers can expect a lot of cat fights and heavy shades from the fighting queens.
The cast of the film
Some cast members are Osas Ighodara, Brely Evans, Erica Pinkett, LisaRaye McCoy, Nikki Samonas, Lord KiDi, Karen Joseph Riley, Tebogo Thobejane and many more.
Tebogo’s role in the film is a side chick to a man. When they meet, she flirts with him, and he falls for it. Eventually, their relationship grows, and they even go publicly together. The couple will attend a wedding together and be very cosy. Unfortunately, the woman of the man’s life will see them together and walk away in a fury, and Tebogo’s character will feel zero guilt.
Tebogo has worked hard as an actress since she played Belinda on Muvhango. She went on to play a warden on DiepCity, killing her role on Ayeye Stripped on Mzansi Magic. She is also securing her bag with her City Girls podcast and her businesses Bofa Belts and Club X in Sandton.
