Army member sits on lady: A member of SANDF has his video sitting on a helpless lady trending in South Africa. The video has been widely condemned as a GBV case with SANDF opening a case against the soldier.

“Why are you sitting on top of her? a member of the public asked. “Please get on her and stand up. Do not sit on top of her” The SANDF member said, “There is no man to man talk here, i’m talking to my girlfriend.” Another by stander started taking a video and was threatened by the soldier sitting on top of his girlfriend.
SANDF has since acknowledged seeing the video of a man who looked like he was wearing an army uniform. The army say they have launched an investigation into the matter off abuse.
The SANDF say they support efforts to eradicate violence against women and children. “Any kind of gender-based violence against women and children in the military community is unacceptable and is frowned upon,” army spokesperson Col Ronald Maseko said.
