A South African white man unleashed German Shepherd dogs on a handful of black men who sought to invade a vacant house in one of South Africa’s low density suburbs. A brawl happened as the black men started fighting back with weapons.
The video shows a white man handling a German Shepherd dog blocking the entrance of a gate. A handful of black people are also are seen around the gate with some cars parked. One man in a yellow shirt and white pants get closer to the man manning the gate and gets bit by on of the dog.
The biting by the dog caused the black men to pick up a ladder, wire cutters and a shovel and started hitting the white man at the gate.
The men are believed to have been trying to get access to a private property. The man at the gate is believed to be a neighbour or a concerned party.
Details of the property causing the brawl are still sketchy but the property is reported to be a vacant house that has been abandoned for some time.

Property invasions in South Africa have often been politically motivated. Political leaders such as EFF leader Julius Malema have often incited thei supporters to occupy any pieces of land that they identify.
South Africa is one of the world’s most unequal societies white the white minority having larger pieces of land than the blacks. The situation started the colonial era and has not been fully addresses as yet. The ruling party ANC and the EFF are advocating for land expropriation without compensation.
