Medical staff at Dora Nginza Hospital in Port Elizabeth are protesting at the hospital. The staff say they lack of proper masks, gowns and eye gear. They feel the negligence by the hospital authority is jeopardising the ability of medical workers to fight the coronavirus and putting their lives at risk.
South Africa is currently under a 21 days lockdown. The government has put in measures to combat the increase in covid-19 cases that are at 1665. South Africa has reported 9 deaths due to the novel coronavirus.
