Video: Menzi Ngubane was forced to work by Mfundi Vundla despite his failing health
Mfundi Vundla has South Africans enraged after a video makes rounds on social media exposing him for mistreating his employees. Definitely a wolf in sheep’s clothing, Vundla has been exposed of forcing the late Menzi Ngubane to continue working despite being sick if he wanted to get his dues.
Andile Miya shares a video on Twitter that leaves Mzansi in awe.
Watching this video saddened me. Mfundi Vundla suddenly acting like he cares about the death of Menzi Ngubane. A man spent 7 weeks in hospital fighting for his life and all he was given was just a weekend at home to rest then go back to work.
Menzi Ngubane was forced to work by Mfundi Vundla
In the video, Menzi explains at a presser on his ordeal while working as an actor on Generations. After a couple of actors express their woes over low wages, the whole cast is given the boot by Mfundi. This includes Menzi who later exposes Mfundi for overworking him despite being weak from dialysis which he did four times a day.
Perplexed, the late veteran actor’s fans flock to the comment section.
Eish I feel the pain in his voice then Vundla comes now and acts as if he cares about him mxm.
It’s really heartbreaking. And he di not have a choice but to go back to work because he had to feed his family.
And now Mfundi Vundla is ‘devastated’.
Bro like he ever cared for the wellbeing of his workers and the amount of work they put in.
This is part of the reason I hate that lady from Botswana, who went back to work for Mfundi when actors were treated like sh*t.
Mfundi Vundla had an opportunity to revolutionarise the film and telenovela industry at that time but sadly he decided to be a capitalist with the aide of SABC. I personally stopped watching soapies then on. What we see with Ferguson Films is a ripple effect of the Mvundlas.
Menzi Ngubane passed on a few days ago after years of battling kidney failure. The veteran actor is survived by his wife Sikelelo Sishuba who he remarried in 2015 following an abrupt divorce. Apart from Generations, Ngubane featured in films including How to Steal 2 Million, In My Country, Red Cargo among others.
