The town of Chitungwiza has refused to be locked down as people are seen going about their day to day activities. Sights from St Mary suburbs and Zengeza suburbs show there is no difference between lock down and business as usual.
Informal markets are open and people are also found at shopping centres buying goods as playing snooker among other activities.
“People are forced to come out of their homes so they can make money. All we need is food and no one has helped us. The government promised us money but we haven’t received it,” said one of the vendors.
