Botswana National Football team coach Adel Amrouche has spoken about the rumours linking him to Kaizer Chiefs after the sacking of Ernst Middendrop. at the end of the season.
Ernst Middendrop was given matching orders following his failure to clinch the domestic title despite leading by 17 points at some point during the season.
While Kaizer Chiefs fans preferred former Bidvest Wits coac Gavin Hunt or former Porto striker and Champions league winner Benny McCarthy, the Amakhosi hierarchy is reportedly in the closing stages of finalising a deal with Amrouche and they expect to announce his arrival soon.

Kaizer Chiefs, who are currently without a trainer after the entire coaching staff was fired, finished two points below Mamelodi Sundowns and are looking for a fresh start and squad overhaul.
After a few days of rumours, sports media owner Robert Marawa tracked the Algerian to talk about the possibility of him joining Amakhosi.

Amrouche did not give much away, instead it turned out to be a promotion for Marawa TV as the veteran coach showered praises on Marawa.
