Video, Blood and Water actress Gail Mabalane ‘Thandeka’ stars in Afrikaans action film
Gail Mabalane is one of the most gifted actresses in South Africa and recently stars in an Afrikaans movie. The actress who slays any role she gets is excited to be part of this one of a kind film. Through her Instagram page, Gail has shared the news of her new movie role and its release date.
In her post, Gail Mabalane says that she is excited for her fans to watch the movie as it is the first of its kind in South Africa. In the film, she plays the role of Detective Renee Williamson, who is a chasing a trained escapee. The film called Indemnity will be in Cinemas on the 13th of May 2022.

Indemnity is an action thriller about a former firefighter called Theo who has PTSD. After waking up next to his murdered wife with police knocking on the door, he has to run for his life. Theo has to call in favours from his former workmates to try and clear his name. However, he realises in utter shock that he may have unconsciously killed his wife because of a programme he was a part of.
Gail Mabalane stars in an action movie called Indemnity
The actress plays Renee, who heads the task force running after Theo trying to make an arrest. Even if she is chasing after this man deep down, she has respect for him and his skills. The movie’s cast comprises Jarrid Geduld, who plays Theo, and Nicole Fortuin, who plays Angela, who is Theo’s wife. Hlomla Dandala also stars in the film as part of the task force chasing after Theo.
Mabalane has been in the headlines recently after launching her haircare business. The actress took her battle with hair loss and did a business out of it. She is famously known for her role in Blood and Water and The Wild.
