Video and Pictures, A look into Miss Supranational Lalela Mswane’s homecoming after winning the title
South African beauty queen Lalela Mswane was Crowned Miss Supranational on the 15th of July 2022 in the pageant held in Poland. As part of her job as the reigning Miss Supranational, she stayed in Poland for the past few days since her crowning. However, this morning the queen returned home to South Africa and was welcomed with great joy at the airport.

Lalela arrived at OR Tambo Airport at 8 in the morning with wild cheers from many of her fans and other dignitaries. The Miss South Africa organization had advertised the arrival of the beauty queen, urging fans to come to her homecoming. A lot of people showed up to welcome her back home with the international crown.

Mswane was heavily guarded by a few people from the army so that fans would not get too wild. In the front role at the airport, Lalela’s friends and family excitedly hugged them hello. A former Miss South Africa, Ntando Kunene, was also part of the crowd holding the national flag and blowing kisses.

After the airport celebrations, Lalela Mswane left somewhere and gave her first public speech in South Africa since her crowning. After that, she took pictures with the sponsors and her welcoming entourage. The beauty queen was showered with gifts that she showed all over her Instagram account all day. She posted a bouquet of white roses she got as a welcome gift claiming that they were her favourite flowers.
Lalela then later changed at her place into more casual clothes, jeans and a t-shirt and went on to continue with her homecoming. She was next photographed with a cake baked in her honour by two of the best chefs in the country. The cake was white and written Miss Supranational 2022 along with Lalela’s name. There is a crown on top of the icing befitting the queen.
Miss South Africa organization and Brands South Africa sponsored the beauty queen’s homecoming, and they splurged on her. The beauty queen had the most controversial reign in a long time in the history of Miss South Africa. The support she got in her competitions was grossly underwhelming, but she won the crown against all the odds placed against her.
