Zimbabwean rapper ExQ has spoken about the collapse of the Military Touch Movement (MTM) record label owned by Jah Prayzah.
ExQ was signed to the record label as saw his career rise from the dead with hits such as Nhema and Tsvigiri produced under the label. Jah Prayzah called time to the label and issued a statement saying he decided to let the artists go as they were big enough to start their own things and groom more talent. It turned out not to be true as ExQ has now let the cat out of the bag. ExQ pointed at enemies as the cause of the disbandment of MTM.
“It’s sad brother because I know how much u really wanted this movement to work out but haa you tried wena vavengi mahwinha (haters you have won)” he posted on Twitter.
Dancehall artist Nutty O announced his departure from the label under confusing circumstances. At first he blamed his management for announcing his departure whilst he was still contracted but later on admitted he had left.
The record label had artists such as Tahle WeDzinza, Andy Muridzo, Nutty O and producer DJ Tamuka.
