Man of the moment Van Choga real name Valentine Simbarashe Choga has decided to leave Seh Calaz and Yalanation studios for another record label.
Seh Calaz says he and his Yalanation studios will not longer be working with Van Choga with immediate effect as he has notified them of his intention to move on with his career. The ‘Vakomana vekwaMudzviti’ leader has decided it is time to work with different people in his career so he can move to the next level with his talent.
Seh Calaz says he holds no reservations with Van Choga’s personal choice his record label has released him from his contract. The ‘Mumba menyu murikubvira’ hit maker says he wishes Van Choga all the best in his career as an artist.
Seh Calaz says his objective in music has always been to help artists grow and he has called upon young artists wiling to work with him to come forward and get the opportunity to be mentored with one of the best in the industry.

Van Choga joined Yalanation in April 2019 before he rose to fame. He has since grown to be the most talked about artist during the Covid-19 lockdown with his energy even acknowledged by opposition leader Nelson Chamisa.

Van Choga released a number of hits during his time with Yalanation such as Pindikiti, Joza and Zuva rekuguma. He is well known for his dirty dressing and can easily be mistaken for a homeless person. He keep long uncombed hair and sometimes shoots his videos in dingy and filthy places. He style is so unique that Zimbabweans have embraced him. Van Choga recently performed at Nash TV lockdown gig and produced a sterling performance alongside his mentor Seh Calaz. He was playing the Mambo Dhuterere role on the Reurura hit.
