This week’s highlights video has been released, and Uzalo is serving us the drama on a cold plate.
Let’s go through what to expect this week.
Nkunzi toes the line
Nkunzi is struggling to come to terms with his truck being hijacked. He has one person in mind, and it is Vika.
In the new video, Nkunzi is seen talking to Sibonelo and letting him know that he knows Vika is involved in the hijacking.
Vika was mysteriously released from prison a few days before hitting Nkunzi’s truck.
In Friday’s episode, Vika revealed that he had acquired police uniforms from his last hijacking and that he would use that to his advantage for this heist.
It looks like it worked because Nkunzi gives Vika a terrifying phone call letting him know that hijacking his truck means his death.
The Sbu and Njeza diaries
Njeza and Sbu are still trying to recuperate from their unexpected release from jail.
Njeza is fighting with his conscience, and he is uncomfortable with the fact that he is not sure on what grounds they are out on parole.
His crime haunts Njeza, and he experiences intrusive thoughts from the day he nearly murders Nosipho. Njeza keeps replaying the incident in his head. In the last episode, Njeza went to church to pray, and his doubts were obvious.
He is still trying to make Sbu see that there is something else at play, that they did not just get released for nothing. Sbu is choosing to go back into life and enjoy his freedom.
Sbu realises just how much he hates Nkunzi. He also visits his grandmother’s grave, who died while he was still in jail. He is brought back to reality when Nkunzi shows up at his Restaurant, where these two have decided to have lunch.
Njeza and Sbu also show up at Nonka and Nosipho’s work, and to say it was awkward. Remember that Nosipho visited Njeza in jail and ended up forgiving him? Njeza started the Khuluma Ndoda program with the now late Patrick Shai.
Still, on Nosipho, she went to ask for Pastor Gwala to intervene between her and the Shlobo ladies. Pastor Gwala first distanced himself from this and sent Nosipho to Pope Evangelist Pastor Mbatha.
Pastor Gwala must have received a message to help Nosipho from above because he suddenly backtracks and arranges a meeting with the three ladies at KCC.
