Nonka is released after listening to her attorney and entering a guilty plea on Uzalo. It appears that the strategy worked and the prosecutor showed her mercy, but when they get home and sit down to dine, Nonka is still a little distorted, and her family can’t help but bombard her by calling Kwanda names.
Nonka refuses to eat and claims she is not hungry. She is dejected and speechless. She was given a two-year suspended sentence after pleading guilty, which upset her because she did nothing. She claims she will lose clients because people now perceive her as a drug dealer and that Kwanda, who used her as a front for drugs, is to blame for the end of her life. She is upset that she now has a criminal history.

But he runs into a problem because he needs to buy the items in bulk to sell them to the church. He turns to his girlfriend for a loan, but she is hesitant at first and then seems to change her mind. Mbatha visits the neighbourhood radio station to try to promote his goods, but they eject him. He brings them gifts in the hopes that they will allow him to speak to listeners on the radio. Outraged, they return the gifts and chase him away because they think this is all a ruse to take advantage of people.
At the police station, Mondli and his task force are still working to identify this “Putin” who attempted to kill Nkunzi. The other police believe that Putin does not exist, but Mondli is determined to find him because he wants to see him alive. Nyawo, one of the detectives in his task force, claims that Nkunzi is inventing this character of Putin and that because he had poison, he now has schizophrenia.
