Uzalo return date: South Africa’s most watched soapie Uzalo has announced they have resumed production of the show on the 6th of May 2020. The show also announced they are going off air on Monday 11 May 2020. The show has been heavily impacted by the covid-19 pandemic and is running out of content and its viewers are wondering when Uzalo is coming back.
The show which airs on SABC 1 made the following announcement about their return date:
Uzalo production officially resumed on Wednesday, 06 May 2020. However, Uzalo will be off-air from Monday, 11 May 2020. This is due to the national lockdown aimed at combating the global covid-19 pandemic. Production was profoundly impacted by this as it directly resulted in the show not having enough material to flight. It is important to us to ensure we deliver content that adheres to the covid-19 protocols, safeguarding our active cast, crew and greater community.
