Zanu PF has threatened to expel United States Ambassador to Zimbabwe Brian Nichols with expulsion for a number of accusations and they called him a thug.
Speaking during a press briefing about the planned July 31 demonstration, Zanu PF acting spokesperson Patrick Chinamasa made a series of accusations at Nichols, who of late has been fighting fire with fire.
“If he continues engaging in acts of undermining the public, mobilising and funding disturbances, coordinating violence and training insurgence, our leadership will not hesitate to give him marching orders. We should not behave like thugs and Brian Nichols is a thug,” Chinamasa said much to the delight of Zanu PF leadership in attendance who clapped hands in support.

He continued, “remind Nichols that he is not a super diplomat in this country there are many diplomats that are seconded to this republic from the African Union member countries and the world over but they ave never masqueraded as prefects. I repeat we have nothing to learn from the United States.”
