Twitter users believe Uncle Waffles has reached new heights of fame after receiving a co-sign from Beyoncé. The music DJ has become a hot topic on social media after a viral clip showed Queen B dancing to her popular track ‘Tanzania’. Uncle Waffles has also received co-signs from other big names in the music industry, such as Drake and Ciara, and has even performed at prestigious events like Coachella and the Met Gala.
After her debut at Coachella, fellow musician Lady Du took to Instagram to praise Uncle Waffles, recalling how she reached out to her when she was still new to the music scene.
“To Uncle Waffles I remember sitting down with you for a conversation after you trended and said the sky is the limit. You’ve done nothing but chase it. I would like to take my hat off for you and congratulate you from the purest place of my heart. You have made us proud. you are a true example of dreams come true and a key to a lot of doors! We are proud as South Africa and wish you more wealth, good health and a lot of protection. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for sharing our music,” she said.
Uncle Waffles is no stranger to trending on social media. The amapiano sensation recently made waves when she shared a video of herself participating in her viral ‘Yahyuppiyah’ challenge with American singer Ciara.

Ciara also shared a snippet of her performance on her Instagram stories, expressing her admiration for the musician by saying, ‘I just love Uncle Waffles. She’s everything.’
American singer Omarion also praised Uncle Waffles for delivering an amazing performance when he attended one of her gigs, writing ‘You [are] something special. Congratulations. I had a blast.’
