Unathi Nkayi is topping the trends on social after announcing that she is dropping the mic at community radio station Star 91.9 FM. She hosted The All-Star Drive daily between three to six pm for ten months alongside co-host Justin Toerien. Unathi confirmed her exit on Instagram where she penned a thankful message to her fans who supported her.

“February is our last month as co-hosts of The All-Star Drive on @star919fm. We’ve had a great year together with you on air and the gram, and we’re very grateful for the beautiful moments we’ve shared with you.
“We’ve decided not to extend our contracts and wish the station all the best. Stay blessed South Aaaa we love you,”
A confirmed source has it that Unathi Nkayi dumped Star 91.9 to explore other opportunities in the entertainment industry. A renowned publication revealed that she would soon join a new radio station.
Unathi Khanyi on being fired from her previous job at Kaya FM
2022 was a busy year for Unathi, from bowing down as Idols SA judge to joining Kaya FM and being fired the same year. Unathi was fired from Kaya FM after a heated argument with co-worker Sizwe Dlomo.
After being fired from Kaya FM new doors opened for her and she joined Star 91.9. Talking about joining Star 91. 9, she said:
