Ukhozi FM Dj Tshatha Ngobe who was tested for COVID-19 and given a positive result has been declared negative after a mix up of results.
Ngobe and his employer earlier on confirmed that Tshatha Ngobe tested positive for COVID-19, however the laboratory which tested their samples admitted to giving out a wrong result.
In a statement, SABC acknowledged and published the mix up.

This forced shutdown of entire building. But call from JDJ Diagnostics laboratory in Durban where Ngobe was tested – confirmed his initial diagnosis was incorrect. Ngobe says while the laboratory has apologised for mistake, it has caused him and his family much stress
