Comedian, YouTuber and socialite Lasizwe Dambuza has deactivated his Twitter account following another episode of bullying. Trolls have once again dragged Lasizwe and this time the YouTuber is protecting his peace at all costs. As a person who has suffered from mental health problems, he is not looking to have another episode and has chose peace.
As a comedian, Lasizwe always posts light hearted content to give his followers a giggle, especially during the hardships the world is currently faced with. He posted a picture of himself exposing his bottom, trying to spread the word that small b*tts matter. “To everyone with a small ass, Don’t worry you are not alone,” he stated.
He posted the picture on all his social media accounts however Twitter once again proves just how ruthless it can get. In the words of Bonang Matheba, “Twitter has become filthy…Yuck!” For many Twitter has become a no-go app for people dealing with mental health issues.
In 2020, before his father’s death, Lasizwe revealed that he was heartbroken and needed prayers from his fans. The TV star penned an emotional post on Twitter, pleading with his fans to pray for him in order to overcome what he is going through. Lasizwe Dambuza also briefly disappeared from social media but quickly came back.
I’ve lost my true authentic self! I have became fake and plastic! The fame monster has gotten a hold of me! What you can do for me is to pray for me! Honestly please pray for me! It would really help,” he wrote.
Explaining to his fans what his cryptic tweets meant, Lasizwe revealed that he suffered from depression. “To everyone who sent me get well messages, Thank you so much! Your messages kept me warm during a dark phase in my life, I am still fighting a winning battle! Depression is real and deadly! I love you and appreciate you so much! I feel free.” The message was accompanied by a video of himself standing on a beach in Cape Town, where he is currently taking a break with sibling, Khanyi Mbau.
Khanyi decided to treat her little brother, Lasizwe, to some retail therapy at the Giorgio Armani store in Sandton City. In a series of posts the pair were seen touching down in Cape Town, where they will receive some much deserved time off.
Let’s hope Twitter will be kinder once the funnyman activates his account again
