Entertainment blogger Jabu Mcdonald has recently revealed that talented actress Tsholo Matshaba has joined the cast of the e.tv fashion drama House of Zwide. According to Mcdonald, Matshaba will be playing the role of Mampho’s mother.
Inside Tsholo Matshaba’s New Role
House of Zwide confirmed the news by sharing a clip of Matshaba with Mampho, who is played by The Wife star Gaisang Noge. In the show, Mampho is Nkosi Zwide’s baby mama. In the clip, Mampho and Matshaba’s characters are scheming to break up Nkosi (played by Wanda Zuma) and Shoki’s (played by Shalate Sekhabi) wedding.
It is worth noting that actress Gaisang Noge took a break from House of Zwide when she scored the leading role of Naledi in season three of Showmax’s hit series The Wife. It is currently unclear if Matshaba will exit The River, which has been cancelled by DStv and will end in February 2024.
