R1 billion relief package a slap in the face
The six taxi association have described the R1.1billion offered by the government as ‘a slap in the face. Thehave advised the government that they will be withdrawing their service and the much feared shutdown is now being implemented
Mbalula says government offer is final
Earlier on the Minister of Transport Fikile Mbalula had said the R1.1 billion offered by the government is final and the government will not improve its offer. It remains to be seen if Mbalula will negotiate with the taxi bosses in light of this recent development.
