‘Too much controversy’, Mzansi reacts to Real Housewives of Durban season 3 debut episode. The Real Housewives of Durban came back to our screens with a bang, and the show has been topping the trends on social media. The cast members for the reality show are Annie Mthembu, Jojo Robinson, Nonku Williams and Sorisha Naidoo are joined by new members Maria Valaskatzis, Mbali Ngiba and Slindile Wendy Ndlovu. Unfortunately, RHOD dumped Thobile MaKhumalo Mseleku, Nonkanyiso Conco and Londie London.
The new cast members are full of drama capped with thrills. This season has a new reality star with an ancestral calling and Nonku is a pastor making the show enjoyable.
RHOD season 3 is starting on a very scandalous note with Nonku leading her new friend, Slindile to spill the tea about her recently failed relationship with her millionaire boyfriend, Sandile Zungu. Slindile was dumped by Zungu, who later married another woman four months after their breakup. Slee described Zungu as a serial player who played with her feelings and later tossed her.
“We had a minor argument, and he said he doesn’t trust me anymore. He stormed out of our home, but I didn’t take it seriously. I laughed because the fight wasn’t even serious. I waited for him to come back, but he didn’t.
“Four months after the argument, he went behind my back and married another woman. I saw their pictures in the newspapers. I was shocked and hurt by the whole thing. That’s when I decided to walk away. I still don’t know why he dumped me. I might have triggered something in him, but whatever it was did not give him the right to treat me like that.”
Sorisha also brought some fireworks in the first episode. She came back a different person and has decided to stand up for herself, and her face-to-face interactions are as direct as her diary sessions.
On the other hand, Jojo Robinson has a severe case of Déjà vu, when the singer she had organized for her princess soiree did not arrive again. She is even accused of being a mean girl.
