Thulane from Uzalo joins Durban Gen
Thulane is back to grace our screens and this time as a medical intern. Uzalo fans were disgruntled by the exit of the two notorious brothers who brought flair to the screens. Following a fallout with the producers on Uzalo over an undisclosed matter, the duo receives the boot much to the disappointment of Uzalo fans.
It is a good day however for Durban Gen viewers as the talented actor is joining the show playing Dr Mandla Ngcobo. “Let’s shake things up a bit,” Durban Gen captions the actor’s pictures. The comment section goes abuzz with viewers weighing in on the new cast member.
This guy is good… His facial expressions. He embeds himself into the character. Can’t wait to see wat he brings. He also kinda cute.

Durban Gen is set to poach viewers from Uzalo through Thulane as they await his debut on the show. Some however express their concerns on the recycling of actors and show disapproval. Dr Mchunu’s exit is linked to Thulane’s debut on the show and masses are wondering if this is a move to replace Fanele Zulu. A number of Durban Gen fans still want Fanele on the show and this move does not sit well with them.
So Mchunu exits the show to recycle actors hai bandla new blood is always nice they come with a new vibe.
Thulane’s role on Uzalo told the story of a thug who together with his brother are hell-bent to avenge their father’s death. The duo however exits the show in a rather heart wrenching scene.
Thulane is gunned down by Nkunzi to which his brother faces the similar fate. It is mind blowing how the actor moves from nailing a gangster role to bagging a role that requires show casing high intellectual dexterities.
