Three taxi bosses were shot dead in late hours on Thursday in Mabopane, north of Pretoria in a suspected Taxi war turf assassination.
The taxi violence fatalities come a few hours after seven people were shot dead in KwaZulu-Natal in a suspected drug war.

Police spokesperson Captain Mavela Masondo says the motive for murders is unknown at the stage but ongoing taxi violence in the area cannot be ruled out.
“Currently there are no witnesses but we are appealing to anyone who’s got information that assist us in the investigation or to apprehend the suspect to please come forward,” Masondo said.
