Thembi Seete is a South African actress, singer, television presenter and model who is famous for killing her role as Gladys on the most-watched show Gomora, she is set to replace outgoing Idols SA judge Unathi Khanyi in season 18. Thembi thrust into the limelight through the Kwaito Boom Shaka group like those before her. After the Boom Shaka split, she released her first single and ventured into acting and presenting.

Thembi Seete made headlines in 2021 when she was a guest judge on Idols SA season 17. Somizi was on a break by that time, and Thembi was set to replace him, judging alongside Randall and Unathi. Many fans called her Somizi’s permanent replacement because they were impressed by her judging skills.
