Due to some changes, the Real Housewives of Durban will now be premiering on ShowMax instead of 1Magic as communicated earlier. This is due to some changes as Babes Wodumo and Mampintsha’s reality show Uthando lodumo has seen some delays owing to the pandemic.
Multichoice Group CEO for General Entertainment and Connected Video, Yolisa Phahla stated that, “We know 1Magic viewers were looking forward to this, so the late schedule change was a difficult call to make. We encourage 1Magic viewers who are not Showmax subscribers yet to sign up to not miss out. There’s a 14 day free trial. Subscribers who have DSTV Compact get ShowMax for R49 and it’s free for premium viewers. We believe Showmax is a powerful platform for sharing African stories so we’re thrilled that the Real Housewives of Durban will be available across the continent”.
However, the premier date remains unchanged, 29 January 2021. The international franchise has just added Durban to their list of cities and it boasts of a stellar cast of very interesting ladies. Leading up to it’s official release, the show has revealed the cast describing the ladies as ‘sassy, spicy and salty.’ According to their website, the ladies will, as always invite viewers to their lavish lifestyles where they flaunt their expensive lifestyles
