Fast-rising The Queen’s actor Paballo Koza passes his matric
Fast-rising star actor Paballo Koza has capped his on-screen heroics with a matric certificate. It’s not easy to strike a balance between education and a growing acting career but Paballo Koza has proven that wrong.
With his fascinating career trajectory, the boy is winning big not only on-screen but behind the cameras too. We can all agree that his future is bright. He has featured in a number of award-winning drama series in his career.
Paballo Koza plays the role of Kaya on Mzansi’s Magic hit soapie The Queen. The star is over the moon after he recently nailed his matric and passed with flying colours.
The wizkid actor scooped three distinctions with a degree pass. Taking it to the media he was happy and grateful for the big success.
Honestly, it feels more than good to pass. It’s absolutely amazing to put the matric chapter behind me especially given the fact that we were in the midst of a deadly pandemic. I can say the study sessions, discussions with my peers and all the zoom sessions paid off and will forever be grateful.
When I received my results I exploded with excitement and I was so happy to see the look at my parents face after seeing my results.

In his several interviews that he has done before Paballo has always opened up about how supportive his parents are when it comes to school and his acting career.
From the word go my parents have always put more emphasis on my academics and how I should make it my priority. At the same time, they never shootdown my acting career they have always found a way to make me strike a balance between the two.
So when it comes to acting I usually do my scenes on the weekend or holidays and they would accompany me on set.
Koza however congratulated his fellow matric class.
“He sailed through the storm it was not easy not only for me but for many of us. We showed bravery and whatever results from this year exams there is light at the end of the tunnel and we should soldier on. The future is way bright for us lets grow and empower ourselves,” he said.
