The Estate actor Siyanda Sesimani dies, cause of death revealed
The entertainment industry has been dealt another blow following the untimely death of celebrated South African actor Siyanda Sesimani. The celebrated actor is best known for his unmatched acting flair on Soul City; currently, he was nailing his on-screen character on SABC’s drama series The Estate.
He died on Friday 11 March after being brutally attacked last week. The family has already confirmed the untimely death of the actor. Sources have it that he died before he was to undergo surgery this coming Monday, which also happens to be his birthday.
It has since been established that he was brutally beaten in a mysterious attack last week and admitted to the hospital for medical treatment.
According to the family’s statement, the motive behind the attack was unknown, and investigations are said to be underway.

His untimely death comes in the backdrop of multi-award-winning hip hop DJ Dimplez born Boitumelo Mooi. The celebrated DJ succumbed to a brain haemorrhage. His close friend and media personality Zola Hashatsi gave a detailed update on his death and what went wrong. He posted:
“Sad to announce the passing of my dear friend Siyanda Siya Sesimani @siyasesimani. He’s been fighting for his life in hospital after he was attacked and beaten to a pulp. He was meant to go for surgery on Monday (his birthday). He was a son, a brother, a friend and a father. May his beautiful soul rest in peace”.
He leaves behind a three-year-old daughter. The celebrated actor made all sorts of headlines when he starred in Ikhaya, which happened to his shot to fame. However, the late actor also starred in several screenplays such as Ikhaya, iSithembiso and The Estate.
In the wake of his untimely death, several industry mates have shared their messages of condolences, and some are still in shock. Lerato Mvelase, Connie Chiume and Salama Mosese expressed their surprise in the comments section of Hashatsi’s post.
