Career
Thandy’s dream job was to be a YO-TV presenter/gospel musician. However it seems she was destined for way more than that. She is best known for her role alongside Enhle Mbali in Tshisa.
Thandy then went on to star in shows like Ambitions, Intsika, Rythm City and even Soul City. She was also in the critically acclaimed Jerusalema along with her The Queen co-star Rapulana Seiphemo.
Thandy is on the advisory board of the Sophie Ndaba (ex-wife to Themba Ndaba) Foundation. She is also former ambassador for Afrika Tikkun and Miss Earth SA. Recently this year, she was named brand ambassador for South Africa brand. On top of all this, Thandy is the managing director of Aptitude Consulting, a PR agency. She started the company in 2014 when she took a hiatus from her acting.
For the cherry on the beautiful cake, she also runs a charity initiative. It collects clothes and tinned foods on a regular basis for Agape Childrens’ home and The Central Methodist church. Thandy is basically superwoman in the body of gymnast, then again superwoman is totally a gymnast so Thandy qualifies to be our very own South African superwoman.
