Rise to fame
Tellaman is a self-taught musician who was born and bred in Durban South Africa. His mother sparked his passion for music and had him join a church youth choir. He then decided to pursue music and started writing and recording his own music. Tellaman then stepped into the spotlight through a song by DJ Speedsta single “Mayo” which charted number one. He featured in the song together with Yung Swiss, Frank casino and Shane Eagle. In June 2016, he dropped his first individual venture, a mixtape titled Mind vs Heart.

To close off the year, Tellaman sealed an amazing year by signing a deal with prestigious US label Motown Records and another deal with Virgin Records in the UK. The artist however is still signed to Universal Records.
