.Minister of Communications and Digital Technology Stella Ndabeni-Abrahams has issued a public apology following her suspension by President Ramaphosa for breaching the lockdown rules. Ndabeni trended on social media when a picture of herself and Mduduzi Manana having lunch circulated on social media.
Fellow South Africans i would like to apologize to President Cyril Ramaphosa, the National Command Centre and South Africans at large for breaching lockdown rules put in place to curb the spread off Covid-19. I mewt the president yesterday after a photo of myself at Mr Mduduzi Manana’s residence circulated on social media during the lockdown and social distancing period. I regret my actions and i deeply sorry. I hope you fellow South Africans will forgive me. I will abide by the conditions of the leave I would like to take this opportunity to retrate the preisnt’s call to stay home and reduce the spread of the virus that has divasted many nations.
