Gugu is a troubled High school girl whose life is always upside down. It has been a long time since we saw Gugu happy in Gomora as troubles surrounding her family grow each day.
It isn’t easy for many fans to imagine Gugu wining slowly and dancing emotionally to a love song due to her character on Gomora. Surprisingly, Gugu showed her other side that fans never imagined her doing. She danced slowly, softly and emotionally, leaving Mzansi in awe.

She started by showing off her hand and beautiful smile to the Camera as she went through the song. Velile made sure to match the song’s message with her body language.
She looked composed, chilled and professional as she wined and danced to the old school hit Sponky-Ponky. With that swift dance, fans were all over, praising Gugu and sending her love.

Velile Makhoba’s Gomora role as Gugu
On Gomora, Gugu lives under grandmother in law MamSonto together with notorious Mazet and school-going Tshiamo. Gugu is under depression after being abducted by Qhoqhoqho and the hostel gang. Gugu is now free, thanks to Ntokozo, her mother in law Thathi and her group of friends who helped on the rescue mission. Despite having a severe storyline on her shoulders, Gugu nailed her supporting role to perfection.
