In Pictures: South African celebrities expecting new babies in 2022

2021 has come and gone. We have now birthed a new year. Some celebrities are also expecting to birth new babies in 2022. The first one on the list is Dr Winnie Mashaba. The Gospel star shared the news on her Instagram pages. Images of the beautiful 40-year-old singer and her baby bump quickly got many people congratulating her and wishing her well. “It ended with so much joy and gratitude unto the Lord,” she said. She continued to share her gratitude. Saying, “I bless the Lord with so much gratitude as I continue praying for all the women who are longing to celebrate like me one day. God is the same in all situations.”
She continued to let us know that bookings for her performances have been suspended until further notice. “I take a break to focus on other important things. My bookings are now officially closed until further notice,” Winnie is expecting her fourth child.

Zoleka Mandela
Zoleka Mandela is also expecting a little one. Zoleka took to Twitter on 16 December 2021. She wrote, “Dear Diary, so like … I thought I had food poisoning, turns out I was pregnant with my 6th child. New hashtag loading.”
Zoleka is very excited about her sixth baby. “OMG! I’m having a freaking baby. I still can’t believe how truly blessed and lucky I am,” she told us on her social media pages. Zoleka lost her child Zenani (13) to a car crash in 2010, returning from a concert. She also lost another child the following year, in 2011. The baby was born prematurely and passed away a few days later. Recently she has talked about her many troubles with men, but that’s a story for another day.

Dumi Mkokstad and Dr Zipho
Dumi Mkokstad’s prayers also got answered. Dumi Mkokstad also reported on 14 December 2021 that he and his wife, Dr Zipho, are expecting their first child.
Dumi couldn’t wait to share, saying. “So It’s been a few months. We said my prayers unto the Lord and he, provided. But what I want to highlight is that I am so
so so proud of my wife. The Lord blessed me with the most amazing human in the world. Thank you, @dr_ziphozenkosi. May the Lord protect you and our baby”
